As a teacher, administrator, and inspirational speaker, Mrs. Hudson has been presenting, teaching, and packaging seminars for over a decade. Delaphine Hudson combines her talents, energy, and leadership to empower young people and adults to move to a new level when facing life’s challenges on college campuses, work, and in their personal lives.

Delaphine is the founder of many successful training workshops implemented at Whittier College and at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has played a vital role in the development of student leaders, resident assistants and office assistants via training and specializing in areas of leadership and program development. Various workshops include: “Time Management,” “How to Motivate Volunteers,” “Check Your Attitude,” and “Developing the Leader Within.”

Delaphine Hudson received her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Saginaw Valley State University, Michigan, and a Master’s degree in counseling and student personnel from Central Michigan University. Delaphine Hudson combines her education with experience from diverse and professional work in higher education.    Serving as the Assistant Dean/Director of Residential Life at Whittier College and as a leader at Covenant Worship Center Ministries in Inglewood, under the leadership of Bishop Andrew C. Turner II, she has impacted many young people's lives. Delaphine equips leaders for ministry and leadership. She has successfully implemented basic training courses, and planned conferences, retreats, and special events throughout Southern California.

As an inspirational speaker, Delaphine utilizes her skills as an educator. Her services are in high demand at conferences, schools, churches, retreats, and local organizations in the greater Los Angeles community. Delaphine Hudson’s messages are positive, stimulating, and life changing. She empowers people to make a difference in their community, to live the dreams they have dreamt as children, and to never let people dictate their future or destiny. Delaphine has a story to tell a dying generation of youth and it is her college experiences on campuses that have challenged her to go into the Southern California schools to make a difference.

It is her belief that every leader must experience opposition and defeat in life in order to become a great leader. Delaphine sows to reap hope in the lives of people, empowering leadership, hope and new dreams.

She has also received numerous honors and recognition for her outstanding performance at the University of California, Los Angeles and Whittier College. Delaphine Hudson is the founder of the Dr. Martin Luther King Oratorical Contest for college students.

As a leader, Delaphine is a true organizer in developing retreats, leadership conferences, and workshops, and has served as a consultant for local organizations. She can take small projects and expand upon them, and is known to leave a legacy wherever she goes.
